How it works
-
The initial appointment will be done with Em, and costs $1800 at our Bountiful, Utah location. This cost includes the toupee, application, cut, one touch-up appointment, and one reapplication appointment. Clients will also be given a take home bag and toupee aftercare instructions.
-
Each reapplication appointment includes removing the toupee, cleaning the toupee and the scalp, getting a haircut, and having the toupee reapplied. To keep hair looking amazing, clients need to maintain a reapplication schedule of at least every 4 weeks. Some clients, depending on individual body chemistry and frequency of exercise, have reapplication done every 2 or 3 weeks.
Bountiful, Utah Clients
Follow-up appointments and reapplications will be done with Amira or Anndrea. After the follow-up appointment, clients can decide between Program or Non-program. Program is $150/month and includes one reapplication appointment and lower hair cost; Stock hair cost is $375. Any additional maintenance appointments are $55 each for the remainder of the month.
Non-program is $100/hour and stock hair cost starts at $550. Non-program is typically preferred by clients that reapply their own toupees between toupee replacement appointments.
The stock hair systems listed above last 2-3 months and Em uses them on most of her clients. There are options for toupees that last longer, however, toupees that last longer typically look less natural. Lace and thicker polyurethane or mixed toupees have a higher cost.
We don’t do contracts here. You can leave anytime and get off program at any time. If you decide to get off a program, you will not be able to get back on a program for one year after getting off.
-
To become a client, you’ll have to come see Em at least once and either return every time you need a new toupee or have Em get a template of your head shape so she can mail you a new toupee as needed.
Anyone can reapply their own toupee! It is difficult, but many of Em’s clients do it. You can also either find a stylist near you or have someone you know help you reapply it.
-
Generally, toupees have to be replaced because the base wears down and the hair falls out with use.
Most clients prefer the more natural-looking toupees, which typically last about 2-3 months. In order to get such a natural look, these toupees have a very thin base and come with a little less hair. These are the toupees Em has found the most success in producing her signature natural hairline and cut.
